Biography
I grew up in Rockford, Illinois and went to college at NIU in Dekalb, IL. majoring in Interpersonal Communication and Media. After college I decided that I hated Illinois, the weather was horrible and I felt there was really no reason for me to stay…So I packed my bags and drove my car out to the Wild Wild West-Phoenix, Arizona-never having been there before. Well-I love it so much- that I’ve never left and that was 15 years ago. I have always been involved in the fitness industry ever since I was 15 yrs. old where I first started out teaching aerobics at Bally’s gym back home and have never stopped working out since!
Once I moved to AZ I just continued my fitness regime but always had the bug to get on stage and show everyone what I was made of! I figured if anyone can do it then why couldn’t I. I started competing in the NPC figure division for about 10 years and then decided it was time to branch off into other federations and do something different. I have done lots of fitness/bikini modeling so I figured those are the divisions that I should be competing in! Well for the last 4 years I have been competing in bikini/fitness model and sometimes figure divisions in the Fitness America shows all over the country. Last year I had heard about this amazing new WBFF show that was going to be held in Toronto-well needless to say I couldn’t purchase my ticket fast enough. I had the most amazing experience of the whole11 years that I have been competing at that one show and will def. be back again. I ended up taking 3rd place in the 35yrs. and older figure class! Yes-us older woman can still rock that stage!!!
For the last 10 years, I have worked as a settlement negotiator at a PI law firm here in Phoenix. When I am not there you can find me out at a variety of places/events promoting one of the best supplement companies ever- Redline/VPX-which is my other job!! I also in my spare time in home personal train clients and provide nutrition counseling when contacted. You may wonder what else I enjoy…… Well typically you can find me at my second home-the gym!! Fitness is my true passion and staying in shape will always be first and foremost in my life!! I have done fitness/bikini modeling for many years and love every minute of it! I am looking to do more and continue to show the world that YES you can be in your thirties and still look amazing!
I will also continue my favorite hobby-competing as I have met the most wonderful people and have been able to take my body to the highest levels I never thought possible!
