Biography

Hi! My name is Kristine Fretwell. I’m from beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia! I’ve been interested in health since a very young age as it was instilled in me by my mother. I was always active when I was younger playing softball, volleyball, basketball, gymnastics and skating….I tried it all! In the end, dancing stuck as I did that from the ages of 4 to 18.

It’s been in recent years I’ve become more serious about fitness and weight training. After giving birth to my daughter in July 2008 I sought the help of a trainer to help get me back into pre-pregnancy shape. Since I was getting great results with the clean eating and intense workouts, I decided to compete. 7 months after my daughter was born, I stepped on stage and placed 4th in Fitness Model at FAME West in March ’09. 3 weeks later I went on to place 6th in Diva Fitness Model at the WBFF BC Championships; and 8th in the Diva Bikini Model category. October ’09, I competed again at the FAME Canadian Nationals where I placed 1st in the Fitness Model Advanced division earning my Pro Status. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey in the health & fitness industry as a fitness model, competitor, nutrition & wellness coach, supplement rep, and personal trainer. I love competing with great organizations such as the WBFF! They put on amazing shows!!!
