Did you ever stumble upon something you were destined to do? God works in very strange and mysterious ways and it is not up to us to question why things happen, but instead to follow the path chosen for us. I have met a REMARKABLE woman living in New York City, named Kelli Clark. Like many of us in the fitness industry, this absolutely stunning woman can quickly be stereotyped, but I have honestly never met someone with a larger or truer heart. (more…)

As a public service anouncement, I have decided to help athletes in all federations. who for whatever reason have it in their heads that they want to be an IFBB PRO. Strange you may think that a representative of The WBFF would tell someone how to be a professional elswhere, but here is my belief… (more…)

Has anyone noticed that women certainly are making a dominant presence in this industry? And industry once completely dominated by men. I will throw in here that the WBFF were pioneers in doing this. Elsewhere, the male divison (singular, because there was only ONE male division) was thriving, and female divisons such as bodybuilding, figure, and fitness were struggling. So much so that judging for these divisions would be on a makeshift stage in the middle of the expo room. (more…)

Lisa Demeule is a perfect MODEL of FITNESS

Somebody had better notify Ponce de León that he was WAY off by searching for the fountain of youth in Florida! No it seems the fountain is in the State of Maine. Biddeford Maine to be exact, and located under the house of WBFF competitor Lisa Demeule. That can be the ONLY excuse for how unbelievable and incredible this woman looks. When I first noticed her? I probably wouldn’t have even put her over the age of 30, yet she is 42 years old and the loving and proud mother of a teenage son. (more…)

When a coach as reputable as Doug from Total Body Advantage nicknames someone “the new breed”, then a person such as myself takes notice. I have written about a few incredible women lately who I say are the direction the WBFF is headed in. Skye Clark definately deserves to join that list, however, as I have gotten to know Skye? Like a story in a movie, this small town girl has a dream. Married young at 18 years old, she had different morals and values instilled in her than most girls these days. She didn’t get married because she was pregnant. She got married because she was in love and wanted to start a family. And it wasn’t easy. Since her 5’10″ frame gained weight easily, she had trouble getting pregnant. (more…)

Lovely Lotie is “head and shoulders” above the rest

I have written many times that in the WBFF, we do not believe that athletes should be judged by some “cookie cutter” notion of what beauty and fitness SHOULD be. I myself am 6’4″ and in many organizations I would be considered TOO tall. We also have competitors who are just over 4ft tall who may not even get looked at elsewhere yet are incredibly beautiful with physiques that shock and awe. The WBFF is a federation for EVERY BODY. It isn’t always about who can bring home a trophy or who can win money. It should be about doing your best. Showing yourself to the best of your ability and proving to yourself and the world that YOU are beautiful. There is not a single person who takes our stage that we do not believe is beautiful and that is why EVERY competitor deserves to take our stage. Not just the morning and then told not to come back at night like they may do elsewhere. The sport we chose is subjective. We let ourselves be judged by a table of a few, but that is just for a prize. One day. The WINNERS are all who have the guts to take the stage. Everyone who lives this 365 days a year! Those who instead of needing to be TOLD they are beautiful, SHOW that they are when they take the stage. I love those who inspire. Women and mothers everywhere, I have found a new source of inspiration for you! Completely breaking the mold of the Bikini Competitor is absolutely beautiful and stunning Team Hard Kandy member Lotie Arroyo. This lovely and proud mother has been working hard transforming her 6’2″ (in bare feet) striking physique to compete May 18, 2013 in Florida at the WBFF Orlando Fitness Weekend. Shown in this picture with TBA Coach Doug you can see she is certain to command your attention. Please show this woman your support, as she spends so much time and effort supporting others on her team and around the WBFF. To follow her and for respectful opportunities, she can be contacted at https://www.facebook.com/lotie.arroyo

Erika Lee Toepfer is an inspiration to ALL!!!

When you ask most people why they are in this sport or industry, you will hear answers like they want to look better, or feel better, or live longer. Maybe they want to be a pro or world champion. Perhaps they want to win money or be published in a magazine. Every once in a while you come across someone SO special that their answer floors you. Such is the case with Erika Lee Toepfer. One look at this mesmerisingly beautiful woman and you would swear she has been a model for years. Well you would be wrong. Her goal isn’t fame or fortune. Her goal is to inspire others, and to stay alive. I will let this incredible lady tell you in her own words.
“Training and competing are two of the most challenging things I have ever done, but I have found it to also be very rewarding and motivating. It has also helped me come to terms with controlling my celiac disease. In 2009 I was diagnosed with celiac disease and being from Kansas, you can imagine how easy it has been to eliminate ALL wheat products from my diet. I struggled my first 2 1/2 years with depression and binge eating trying to figure out how to lessen my cravings for sugar and foods that contained gluten but nothing seemed to help me more than sticking to a clean diet and working out. Through competing I have found myself and my purpose in life and have been able to use the gifts God has given me to inspire and help others who struggle with confidence, celiac or just motivation to get up and get moving on making their lives better than ever by living a healthy lifestyle and being active!
In January 2013, I was blessed to have stumbled upon WBFF Pro Tammy Streich and her TEAMBSH out of Oklahoma City. As they welcomed me with open arms, support and encouragement it was then I realized I found my place and what organization I wanted to be a part of. After doing my share of research and hearing the testimonies from the multiple pros on the team, I knew the WBFF was where I belonged and who I wanted to represent in this journey of mine! You have to have dedication, discipline, faith and the motivation to be in this industry. I am excited to show KC, and the world, what I have to offer! May 25, 2013 I will step on The WBFF stage for the first time bringing MY best among “The Best of The Best!” ”
I have to say that beyond her statuesque beauty and her incredible, mainsteam model looks, this humble, strong and down to earth woman has struck a chord with me. She has a disease that many of us do not even understand, and she found the strength and willpower to control it and is now prepared to serve as a role model to people around the world to show that the disease CAN be beaten with knowledge, and what others may think wasn’t possible, IS! NEVER let someone tell you that you can’t do something. And don’t stand there and argue with them either. Just DO IT!!

Who is this incredible woman with the stunning looks and KILLER body? Her name is Kristyn Nicole Million from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is one of my newest find. One of the perks of my role in the WBFF!! When I saw this Amazing athlete, I honestly could not decide what picture to display of her because each was just as striking as the next! May 25th she will be making her WBFF Fitness Diva debut in Kansas City, MO. She is extremely excited to step onstage and attept to make her lifelong dream of becoming a Professional Fitness Athlete come true. A very strong member of TEAM BLING, SWEAT & HEELS coached by the fabulous WBFF Fitness Diva Pro, Tammy Streich, Kristyn is sure to be one to keep your eyes on both on and off the stage! She says she has been devoted to Fitness and Health her entire life, and knows that she belongs in this sport. She knew it way back when she was only 5 years old and her father groomed her to be her brothers workout partner. She has not stopped since that day and her incredible physique is certainly testament to that. She has been a model and Ring Girl for several MMA organizations and also runs a nutrition store with her husband, named Ignite Nutrition, but finally decided it was time to compete. She dicovered her inspiration, Andreia Brazier in a copy of Oxygen magazine and that is what led her to the WBFF. And it is IN the WBFF where she hopes to make her dreams come true and be a positive light for the sport that she loved her entire life. The many lovely faces of Kori Steward
Posted by Frank Budelewski on March 19th 2013

Raised in Levelland, TX. Kori Steward has had a love for sports and fitness since she was a child. She played every sport in High school, which taught her discipline and team cohesion. By taking these skills she left for the Army in 2000 and never turned back. Kori is currently serving as an Air Defense Army Officer stationed in Fort Sill, OK. She has recently started training for her debut in the WBFF at the OKC show this October. She began this journey on December 2 of this year with her best friend Rochelle Lemire. Kori only wanted to lose weight, but never thought to compete in 4 inches of material on a stage. So while attending a workshop in OKC that Team BSH hosted it became evident on what her next journey would be. It was love at first sight for she respects everything that the WBFF has to offer along with Team BSH. Her why for going through with the hard work and dedication is so that she can inspire others and to prove to herself that YES she can have the body of her dreams and YES she can push herself to the limit. She is currently training with Jeannie St. Amour. Her goal is to win her pro card at the OKC WBFF show this fall, but most importantly have the body of a fitness model. In her spare time she loves to ride motorcycles, for she has the need for speed. She also loves using her body as a walking canvas. Kori refuses to be ordinary.

Kari Williams is on a mission! HOO-RAH!!!

Everyone knows that I love a great transformation. Watching someone turn their back on those who don’t have faith in them, and prove them wrong when they accomplish what they were told was impossible? Nothing is better than that. Such is the case of a very good friend of mine Kari Williams. When I first met Kari, she mentioned that she was unhappy with her weight gain and appearance. In addition, she didn’t just want to lose weight, she wanted to completely transform herself and walk onstage as a WBFF Diva. A goal maybe not everyone in her family and her life believed she could do. And THAT is when that drive inside burns brightest! She didn’t talk about it, she didn’t post about it, she didn’t have the pictures and posters and magazines up on the wall and at her desk. Living in California, she went to see amazing Coach and Trainer Doug at Total Body Advantage in Roseville, CA and got to work. To a reputable and incredible coach like Doug, there is no such thing as if, but instead when. Kari had a goal, and she would accomplish that goal. Period. Kari is no stranger to hard work. She served her country and earned the title of United States Marine. A title she is exteremely proud of. Her mission was her body and her mindset and she attacked that mission with full success. Karis before and after pictures are jaw dropping, and in the months leading up to her first WBFF show November 16 in Sacramento, California, she will continue to perfect her already incredible and brand new physique. Show this incredible woman, athlete, competitor, and Marine your support and for any respectful opportunities, she can be contacted at https://www.facebook.com/kari.williams.336.

HJN helps give new meaning to WBFF
Posted by Frank Budelewski on March 16th 2013

The WBFF is constantly growing and evolving. Setting new trends not only in the fitness industry, but also the beauty and fashion industries, hence the upgraded name change to World Beauty Fitness and Fashion. We are breaking from the confines of fitness and reaching out and appealing to the mainstream. There has been a fitness revolution for almost 30 years, yet although fitness as a sport has not evolved much at all. The WBFF is changing the publics perception of the fitness competitor and model in every division. We are NOT your grandfathers organization. And gone are the days of the unhealthy, scrawny, waif models in the mainstream. The general public is working out, and they love it. Women AND men are finding that they may not be able to control much in their lives, BUT they CAN take control of their bodies. We at the WBFF serve as role models to everyone and anyone who wants to look and feel as good as they possibly can, and we demonstrate obtainable realistic physiques. But we do not stop there. Our competitors are among the most beautiful in the world regardless of industry. We are making moves and changes to put our athletes infront of everyday people. To serve as TRUE ambassadors of Fitness. Showing anything is possible, and unlike the intimidating, confusing, marketing strategies that infomercials and television programs use, we are here to show people it is easier than they think. One such woman that crosses the line between fitness and mainstream modeling is Hillary Jones Neeld. One look at this incredible athlete and representative of the WBFF and you will see the direction we are headed in. Hillary demonstrates a beautiful physique with feminine muscle that she works hard for, yet also has mainstream modeling beauty that are almost hypnotic to both men and women. However, as beautiful as this woman is, like other WBFF athletes, she is down to earth and humble. Spending more time supporting and promoting other competitors and her team members at Coach Dougs TBA, she shows sportsmanship that you just do not see elsewhere. She admits that she did start competing a few years ago in another federation, and was not happy with how things were run and handled there. When she found the WBFF and Coach Doug, she found a home. A place where she is certain to make a name not only for herself but also the WBFF as a whole. After growing up in the Northwest, and living in many areas of the US and even Australia, Hillary would love the opportunity to not just compete in the World Championships as a WBFF Pro, but also to inspire as many women out there as possible. Showing them that anything is possible if you follow your dreams and serving as a NEW AGE supermodel. One who is strong and sexy, hard working and independant. Please continue to support the WBFF as we continue to grow and become synonymous with fitness, fashion, and beauty. And please also pay very close attention to this star on the rise as she prepares to compete May 18th in Florida at the 2013 WBFF Orlando Fitness Weekend. To show her your support, or if you have an opportunity for this amazing athlete and model, she can be contacted at www.facebook.com/OfficialHJN

Kristen Leigh Hampton, from X-game to X-FRAME!!!
Posted by Frank Budelewski on March 12th 2013

Heads up! We have a wild one in the WBFF! Kristen Leigh Hampton has been an athlete her entire life, but not the TYPICAL girls sport. She raced motocross and did stunt work on street bikes. Those of us who ride just on a street know the upper body strength it takes. Imagine the development she obtained from a lifetime of racing and stuntwork. Crashing was nothing new to Kristen. It came with the territory, however one day, one crash was much much different. It was on a street and she got hit by a car, and that was the crash the sidelined her. Along with sitting out and dealing with operations, came a slowed metabolism and weight gain. Combined with depression, well, many of us have been there. BUT Kristen didn’t just lay down. She was determined to make a change, and OH that change is a big one! She completely transformed herself and has constructed a physique that I’m sure will drop plenty of jaws in Kansas City on May 25th when she competes in her first WBFF show. When asked to describe herself, she said with a smile, “Im a goofy dork of a tomboy that loves makeup, clothes, pretty shiny things, and dirtbikes. Normal girl.” Show this star on the rise your support as she makes a change in sport, but still demonstrates her incredible will and determination!

GASPARI… in poor taste!!!
Posted by Frank Budelewski on March 12th 2013
1 Comment

Very rarely… almost never will we at the WBFF mention other federations or affiliates. Although it has been common practice for others to attempt to bash us, belittle us, etc, we still continue to grow. Let it be known that we are the longest existing organization to be considered a threat to the IFBB. That being said, it never has been nor will be OUR marketing strategy to attack another federation nor their athletes. We are fans of the entire industry and ALL athletes within it. We may not agree with some of the practices, dealings, judging, and rules in some other organizations, but that in no way affects our support of ALL athletes. This industry is not, never was, and shouldn’t be a monopoly. We all have different goals, different bodies, different dreams. We do not all fit into the same judging criteria or rules. That is exactly WHY we understand that there IS a need for different organizations. Unfortunately others do not share this view with us. The WBFF is headed in a much different direction than others. We are taking fitness to the mainstream and releasing it from obscurity. Shows and competitions shouldn’t be limited to a cult like following. The hard work and dedication it takes to be an athlete in this industry should be respected and viewed by all. We are also taking competitions out of the old beat up school auditoriums and placing them in top venues. Bringing World Beauty Fitness and Fashion to people around the globe. More than a competition, we are a SHOW. One that can be enjoyed regardless of your previous exposure to the fitness industry.
Although we do not like to bring up other federations OR their supporters, we feel there is a recent situation that should be brought to light, and I am doing so on our own webpage out in the open, instead of whispering in blogs, etc. We have a beautiful woman by the name of Yo Lazarov who has been very excited preparing for her first WBFF competition. She has been watching the WBFF, and what we stand for and deliver, and she has decided that we are the best fit for her. Her fiance is Matt Wild. He competes in the UKBFF and was a sponsored athlete by Gaspari. I say WAS, because Matt had his sponsorship taken away why? Because he was being supportive of his own fiance by training her. Thats it. Documenting on their own private website her changes and the countdown to her competition. No different than how supportive she would be for his.
I personally wrote a blog introducing Yo to the WBFF fans and mentioning Matt as her trainer. Matt does not compete in the WBFF. He competes elsewhere, but does that mean we should pretend he doesn’t exist? Does every trainer ONLY prepare athletes for ONE organization? That is rediculous. If you read the two letters shown, you will see that he was told not to support his fiance, and also it is mentioned that recently another athlete had their sponsorship revoked simply because they were going to accept a WBFF Pro card. Should I mention that Gaspari was ONCE a supporter of the WBFF? But now, ONLY deals with the NPC and IFBB as you can read in the letter. Or would it be more accurate to state that he is only ALLOWED to deal with the NPC and IFBB where the puppet masters who pull his strings are in charge? Telling him who to sponsor, who not to sponsor, what to do, where to go, etc. And the reward for being a good boy? A lifetime achievement award at the Arnold Classic. Wonderful. An award the provoked Mr. Gaspari to give a tear jerking speech about how he cares SO much about the athletes and giving them opportunities etc. I guess he failed to mention… give the athletes he is TOLD to give opportunities to. When we had a Pro Athlete and poster girl for the WBFF taken from the WBFF by Gaspari and GUARANTEED a pro card in the IFBB, two weeks before our largest show, we said nothing. When we had athletes leave because they were threatened by Gaspari that they could only compete in the NPC or IFBB? We said nothing. But here we have an athlete who lost sponsorship simply for being supportive of his own fiance who planned to compete in the WBFF? Thats when we feel the need to let our FANS decide what they think of Gaspari and his company.
To show both Matt and Yo your support, they can be followed and contacted at http://www.team-wild.com/ , http://www.youtube.com/user/teamwildtv , yoandmatt@gmail.com, https://www.facebook.com/Ioana.Lazarov/

WBFF Pro Shannon Petralito, beautiful in AND out!!!

This industry and the WBFF are full of beautiful women, so when someone stands out SO vibrantly, you can’t help but take notice. Such is the case with WBFF Figure Pro Shannon Petralito. A woman who is one one the most beautiful I have seen in this industry, yet also one of the most humble. I actually do not think I have ever even seen this incredible woman and competitor promote herself. Instead she spends her time promoting and encouraging OTHERS. ALWAYS leaving postive and complimentary messages on our athletes pages and pictures. This former Mrs. Figure Universe winner followed her heart to the WBFF, and will consistently say how happy she is that she made that choice. We are lucky to have women like Shannon in the WBFF who serve as a role model to women around the world that a wife, and mother CAN ALSO be a professional athlete and model. Shannon also devotes her life to helping people change and enrich their lives mind, body and spirit at Shannon Petralito Fitness.
