Obi Obadike makes history by producing the best selling cover ever for Physique Magazine. The editor Amjad Vanimal told me via email that it is the fastest moving issue in the history of Physique Magazine in Dubai.
He said it was the first time that the warehouse didn’t have any copies of a magazine issue in the history of the magazine. Physique Magazine is a hardcore bodybuilding magazine and some of the prior cover models have been Rich Gaspari as well as other notable IFBB Pro-bodybuilders.
I was the first male fitness model to grace the cover of this hardcore magazine for the Nov of 09 issue and to able to produce the highest selling cover in the history of the magazine is really an honor.
I’ve always said that a fitness model can produce the same sales as a hardcore bodybuilder or more on a hardcore magazine. Ripped is ripped regardless of how big you are honestly. To be able to do it the natural way is pretty cool and to out-sell every IFBB bodybuilder that has been on this cover is really hard for me to believe.
